| Intervention |
Short-term multi-plane kinetic chain training on quadriceps strength and functional performance in knee osteoarthritis |
After the selection of participants using inclusion and exclusion criteria pre assessment will be taken to assess the quadriceps strength and functional performance and training protocol will be given and after the period of training post assessment will be taken after 4 weeks and with values of pre and post-test will be able to know the effectiveness of intervention |

Brief Summary
|
Short-term multi-plane kinetic chain training has been shown to be effective in improving outcomes in individuals with Knee Osteoarthritis. This type of training involves performing functional, weight-bearing exercises across multiple planes of movement—sagittal, frontal, and transverse—such as squats, lunges, and step-ups, which closely mimic daily activities. Over a short duration, typically 4 weeks, this approach significantly enhances quadriceps muscle strength, improves functional performance as measured by tests like the Timed Up and Go (TUG), and reduces pain levels assessed using the Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS). The improvements are attributed to better neuromuscular coordination, joint stability, and activation of multiple muscle groups. Overall, multi-plane kinetic chain training is considered a practical and effective rehabilitation strategy for improving mobility, strength, and quality of life in patients with knee osteoarthritis. |
