Brief Summary
|
The physiotherapy profession demands high levels of physical fitness due to the physically intensive nature of clinical tasks such as patient handling and therapeutic exercises. Many physiotherapists and students neglect personal fitness, leading to a high risk of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). Maintaining adequate power, flexibility is essential for safe and effective practice. This study is a cross sectional observational study and total no. of sample size (n=152) calculated through G-power software 3.1.9.7. Both male and female (Bachelor’s and Masters) Physiotherapy students of age between 20-30 years will be taken from School of Health Science of CSJM university. There will be interaction with physiotherapy students according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Written consent will be given to all students for their voluntary involvement. Demographic data will be assess and for Power [Upper limb(Seated Medicine Ball Throw Test), Lower limb(Vertical Jump Test)], Flexibility [Upper limb (Apley’s Scratch Test), Lower limb(Sit and Reach Test)] will be taken. |
