Brief Summary  

This cross sectional observational study aims to investigate the relationship between hamstring flexibility, reaction time and dynamic balance with sprint performance in recreational sprinters aged eighteen to twenty five years. Sprint performance depends on several neuromuscular and biomechanical factors including muscle flexibility, postural control and rapid motor response. However, limited evidence is available regarding how these factors collectively influence sprint performance in recreational athletes. In this study, recreational sprinters will be recruited based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Hamstring flexibility will be assessed using the Active Knee Extension Test, reaction time will be measured using the Ruler Drop Test and dynamic balance will be evaluated using the Y Balance Test. Sprint performance will be measured using the thirty meter sprint test. The collected data will be analyzed using statistical methods to determine the correlation between hamstring flexibility, reaction time and dynamic balance with sprint performance. The findings of this study may help physiotherapists, coaches and sports professionals understand the physical factors influencing sprint performance and may assist in developing effective training and injury prevention strategies for recreational athletes.
