Hyaluronic Acid |
After extraction, followed by debridement, a prefilled syringe containing 0.8% hyaluronic acid gel will be loaded in and placed inside the socket and the socket will be sutured. The gel will be left into the socket until it is resorbed

| Details |
Patients aged from 35 to 60 years.
2. Patients with controlled Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus(HbA1C below
7%)
3. Patient undergoing atleast 2 atraumatic extractions.
4. Patients willing to participate and for follow up |

Presence of abscess for the teeth indicated for extraction
2. Patients allergic to Hyaluronic acid
3. Poorly controlled diabetic patient ((HbA1C 8% or higher)
4. Patients with Immunocompromised conditions
5. Patients on anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy
6. Pregnant/ Lactating women
7. Chronic smokers |

Healing in Diabetes Mellitus is delayed as compared to healthy patients.The present study evaluates the efficacy of 0.8% hyaluronic acid in enhancing soft tissue healing after tooth extraction in extracted tooth sockets of diabetic patients. |
