Panchakarma therapists with a history of trauma , musculoskeletal injuries or surgery related to the musculoskeletal system. |

Brief Summary
|
This is an observational cross-sectional study planned to be conducted in the Pune , Maharashtra among panchakarma therapists. Panchakarma therapy is a physically demanding occupation involving repetitive tasks , posture , duration of therapy sessions , physical workload associated with MSDs among panchakarma therapists.
A total of 96 panchakarma therapists aged 21 - 55 years with minimum of three years work experience will be included. Musculoskeletal symptoms will be evaluated using the Standard Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire , joint range of motion will be assessed using a goniometer as per AAOS standards and postural risk will be analyzed using REBA scale
The study is expected to generate evidence on work-related musculoskeletal risks and support early detection , ergonomic awareness , and preventive strategies to improve occupational health among panchakarma therapists. |
