Brief Summary
|
Why this study is important: Hypertension is a growing lifestyle disorder, and identifying overlooked behavioral factor Shakrut-graha (Constipation) can aid in prevention and early management, especially in the 35–55 age group. What makes it unique: This is study attempting to correlate Shakrut-graha (Constipation) with a modern clinical condition hypertension in 35-55 years aged population, using both classical concepts and clinical assessment. Practical implications: The findings may help in developing lifestyle-based preventive guidelines, integrating importance of lifestyle strategies as mentioned in ayurveda, and increasing awareness in healthcare workers and common people about the impact of Shakrut-graha (Constipation) on hypertension. |
