Brief Summary
|
Iron deficiency anaemia is very common in Indian reproductive age females. Though India is implementing Anaemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in all states, and provides iron supplement free of cost, still the problem is unsolved yet. Ayurveda has its own understanding about Anaemia an chapter described as Pandu in older Ayurveda Samhitas in detail. in this study it will be tried to find out the causes mentioned for pandu are really existent in Iron deficiency Anaemia Female. the symptomatoplogy described in Pandu will be compared with IDA and its severity also. whether the symptoms mentioned in Pandu vyadhi are found in IDA feamle or not will also be observed. |
