Brief Summary
|
The observational study aims to assess and compare the prevalence of occupational stress in Medical and Police Professionals in Udaipur District. The study consists of 2 groups each of 150 volunteers from medical and professionals. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of occupational stress using Ayurveda and modern tools and secondary objective is to review literature related to mana and manasika vikara and to analyse the key stress inducing factors specific to each profession.
Inclusion criteria include volunteers between 21 to 60 years of age of medical and police professionals with minimum 1 year of continuous service in current profession who are physically and mentally capable of participating in the study while exclusion criteria rules out pregnant and lactating mother, patient on medication for any psychological illness or any severe/ uncontrolled/ chronic illness. Assessment is based on manasika bhava pariksha and dass scale. The aim of this study is to assess the level of stress in both professionals using both Ayurveda and Modern assessment criteria for future interventional studies. |
