Details  1.Pregnancy and Lactating Mother.
2.History of Allergy to Medicine
3.Patient with other co-morbidities like Diabetes Mellitus, HIV, Tuberculosis, pleural effusion, Cor Pulmonale Pneumonia etc.
4.Whooping cough, Tonsillitis.
5.Not willing to give consent.
6.Patients on steroid therapy and chemo therapy
7.Patients with age of below 18 years and above 60 years will be excluded.

Brief Summary  
Kayachikitsa is a crucially important clinical subject because of its unique approach towards treatments, principles and their descriptions, medicinal problem which affects people’s health and there is a separate section in all Samhitas. The main aim of ayurveda is to maintain health state and cure the sickness of the body.
Today’s environment exposes us several toxins by pollution, overpopulation, chemicals, infectious organisms in ambient air and the human respiratory tract exposed to such environment causes cough as major symptom, which is described as Kasa in ayurveda and is also independent disease.
Forceful expulsion of Vayu from throat is called as Kasa. There are five types of Kasa namely Vataj, Pittaj, Kaphaja, kshataj, kshayaj among which Kaphaja Kasa is one of the common diseases affecting the community. The essential disposition of living activity is said to be breathing which is a basic activity of pranvaha srotas. Kaphaja Kasa is a disease of pranavaha srotas that is one of the types of Kasa. According to ayurveda, Kasa is an independent disease as well as symptom. It has separate pathogenesis, sign, symptoms, types, and treatment of Kaphaja Kasa and it having the following symptoms Kasa, sthivan, utklesh, shwaskshtata agnimandya and peenas.
Among these various Yogas, choorna is the easiest form to take, which is also cost effective, hence Pippalyadi choorna were selected for this study for the management of Kaphaja Kasa

Need Of Study
Now a days available conventional management for Kaphaja Kasa in Ayurvedic treatment is the best among them. Although lot of work has been done on Kaphaja Kasa still the disease challenges our medical sciences so it requires further research and proper treatment by ayurvedic medicine.
Ayurveda considers various factors like dosha imbalance, lifestyle, diet, and environmental influences. Studying Kaphaja Kasa in this context provides a comprehensive and personalized approach to treatment.
Pippalyadi choorna has contents which can do Sampraptibhanga of Kaphaja Kasa and can give relief to the patients.
Taking all these points in to consideration the study is planned to evaluate the effect of Pippalyadi choorna in Kaphaja Kasa.
