Dynamic Taping |
Dynamic Taping (DT) is a biomechanical taping technique developed by Ryan Kendrick.
It is made of nylon and lycra, allowing multidirectional stretch up to 200%.
DT works by absorbing load during eccentric movements and assisting concentric muscle contraction |
| Intervention |
Kineso-taping |
Kinesio Taping (KT) is an elastic therapeutic taping technique developed by Dr. Kenzo Kase.
It is designed to support muscles and joints without restricting normal movement.
KT works by lifting the skin slightly, which may improve circulation, reduce pain, and enhance proprioception. |

Brief Summary
|
This pre–post experimental study aims to compare the immediate effects of Kinesio Taping (KT) and Dynamic Taping (DT) on hamstring and quadriceps flexibility and functional performance in soccer players aged 18–25 years. Twenty-six eligible players will be randomly allocated into two groups (KT and DT). Following a standardized 10-minute warm-up, pre-taping assessments (90-90 SLR, Sit-and-Reach, 30-meter sprint, and Vertical Jump) will be recorded. After tape application, post-tests will be conducted immediately. Data will be analyzed using SPSS to determine within- and between-group differences. The study will help identify the more effective taping method for immediate performance enhancement. |
