Brief Summary  
This research study titled *“Efficacy of Multimodal Manual and Postural Techniques: Muscle Energy Technique (MET) and McKenzie Exercises, each combined with ELDOA in Text Neck Syndrome”* aims to compare the effectiveness of two physiotherapy intervention combinations in individuals suffering from Text Neck Syndrome (TNS). Text Neck Syndrome is a modern musculoskeletal condition caused by prolonged use of smartphones and electronic devices, leading to sustained forward head posture, increased cervical spine load, neck pain, reduced range of motion, and functional disability. With increasing screen time, especially among young adults, the prevalence of TNS has significantly risen, creating the need for effective conservative management strategies.

This study is designed as a randomized controlled trial conducted at Khalsa College, Amritsar, with a sample size of 46 participants aged 18–35 years who use electronic devices for more than three hours daily and present with moderate neck pain and disability. Participants are randomly divided into two groups: Group A receives ELDOA combined with Muscle Energy Technique (MET), and Group B receives ELDOA combined with McKenzie exercises. The intervention duration is six weeks, with three sessions per week. Outcome measures include the Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) for pain, Neck Disability Index (NDI) for functional disability, cervical range of motion measured using a goniometer, and posture assessment using the Tragus to Wall Test (craniovertebral angle).

The study is based on the research gap that although ELDOA, MET, and McKenzie exercises are individually effective, there is limited comparative evidence regarding which combination provides superior outcomes in managing Text Neck Syndrome. Statistical analysis will be performed using mean, standard deviation, and t-tests. The findings of this study are expected to provide evidence-based guidance for physiotherapists in selecting the most effective multimodal treatment approach for reducing pain, correcting posture, improving cervical mobility, and enhancing functional ability in individuals with Text Neck Syndrome.
