Intervention  Study of Scope and Management of Fungal Infections using Homeopathic Medicines selected using Complete Repertory and preparation of repertory & visual therapeutics for the same and an attempt to create a list of verbatim by the patient describing the complaints.  Patients (Participants) will receive individualized Homeopathic remedies selected after detailed case-taking and repertorization using the Complete Repertory. Dose should be selected on the basis of severity and pathology of disease, potency should be selected on the basis of individual Susceptibility of the patient, Route of administration will be oral route and total duration of intervention will be of 9 months. Treatment will continue with regular follow-ups, and improvement will be assessed through symptoms and Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI).

Brief Summary

Fungal infections are very common and often cause itching, discomfort, and cosmetic problems. They also affect the confidence and quality of life of patients, especially when the infection is long-lasting or recurrent. Conventional antifungal medicines may give temporary relief but many patients suffer from relapses.

This study aims to evaluate the role of individualized Homeopathic treatment in patients suffering from fungal infections. Each patient will be carefully examined, and medicines will be selected using the Complete Repertory and standard Homeopathic Materia Medica. The improvement will be assessed not only by relief in symptoms but also by changes in the patient’s quality of life, measured with the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI).

Around 50 patients will be included in the study over 9 months at Rajkot Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital. Along with the clinical trial, an academic module will be prepared which includes a repertory section specific to fungal infections, visual references of common fungal conditions with indicated remedies, and a collection of patient expressions (verbatim) describing their complaints.

The study hopes to provide evidence for the usefulness of Homeopathy in fungal infections and to create new academic resources for future learning and practice.
