Brief Summary
|
The present study aims to compare lumbopelvic motor control between young elite cricket players having low back pain and those without low back pain. A cross-sectional study design will be used. Sixty male cricket players aged 18–30 years, playing at intercollege, taluka, district, or state levels, will be recruited from various sports academies of South Gujarat. Participants will be assessed for low back pain using the Athlete Disability Index (ADI) questionnaire. Lumbopelvic motor control will be evaluated using the Chattanooga Pressure Biofeedback Unit through standardized tests — Bent Knee Fall-Out (BKFO), Knee Lift Abdominal Test (KLAT), Standing Knee-Lift Test, and Dynamic Lunge Test. The results will help determine whether impaired lumbopelvic motor control is associated with low back pain in cricketers and provide insights for targeted training and rehabilitation strategies. |
