Intervention  Coping intervention program   1. Three educational session on stress management, Coping strategies, self care of caregiver and problem solving method. 2. Two practice session on mindfulnessbased therapy and Progressive muscle relaxation therapy. Coping intervention program: Day-1 : pre test On Day -1, day-3 and Day-5 educational sessions will be delivered. From Day 7 onwards every alternate day practice session will be done on participants for 8 weeks. Then post test will be taken at 8 weeks, after 15 days, One month and 3 month

Brief Summary   Back ground
Mental health is the foundation for well-being and effective functioning of individuals which includes mental wellbeing, prevention of mental disorders, treatment and rehabilitation. WHO (2025) estimates that the burden of mental health problems in India is 2443 disability adjusted life years per 10000 population. 25 % global population suffering from mental illness. So the family members of mentally ill persons also suffers from burden of disease care.

Purpose: the purposes of the study are to reduce caregiver burden, improve coping and wellbeing of family members of mentally ill ill persons by providing coping intervention program.
