Objectives
1.To assess the knowledge levels regarding anemia in pregnancy among antenatal mothers before and after the implementation of a nurse-led intervention program
2.To assess the practice levels regarding anemia in pregnancy among antenatal mothers before and after the implementation of a nurse-led intervention program
3.To evaluate the impact of the nurse-led intervention programme in improving knowledge regarding anemia in pregnancy.
4.To evaluate the impact of the nurse-led intervention programme in improving practice level regarding anemia in pregnancy.
5.To determine the correlation between knowledge and practice level regarding anemia in pregnancy among antenatal mothers.65.To assess the association between knowledge and practice level with selected demographic variables of antenatal mothers.
7.To determine the impact of nurse–led intervention programme in improving overall anemia management by assessing hemoglobin level through post intervention follow up consultation
Assumption
1.Antenatal mothers have in-adequate knowledge and improper practice regarding anemia in pregnancy.
2.A nurse-led intervention programme can help the ANC mothers to improve their knowledge and practice regarding anemia effectively.
3.It is assumed that antenatal mother will honestly respond to the tool.
4.The nurse-led intervention will be acceptable by the antenatal mother to improve their knowledge and practice level
Research design
1.Research design is basically a master plan which postulating the method and procedures for collecting the needed information followed by analyzing the gathered information in a research study.A quasi-experimental research design is adopted by researcher to gather proper information about the fact taken as objective of the study.
2.Non randomized design is used for the present study.
