Brief Summary
|
Patients meeting inclusion criteria will undergo a pre-anaesthetic evaluation, including physical exam, relevant investigations, and airway assessment. They will be informed about the ultrasound procedure and instructed to fast after 10 PM. Three SSD measurements will be taken: 1) ultrasound at the L3-L4 interspace, 2) Craig’s formula using height, and 3) actual depth after a subarachnoid block using a 25-gauge Quincke needle. The procedure will be performed under aseptic conditions with supervision. Patients with difficulty during the block will be excluded from the study. |
