Brief Summary
|
Aims and methods of research: To assess the perceptions of anesthesiologists regarding the benefits and limitations of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based PAC. To identify barriers to adopting AI based PAC in clinical practice.
Methods: This descriptive observational study will be conducted at All India Institute of Medical Sciences at New Delhi, India. Ethical clearance will be taken from the institutional ethics committee before disseminating the questionnaire survey amongst various anaesthesiologists groups.. After validation of the questionnaire, the google form comprising the participant consent form and the questionnaires shall be circulated amongst practicing anaesthesiologists, who are the primary responders. The first page of the google form shall comprise a consent form through which your consent shall be obtained. You shall be asked to respond to a questionnaire in the form of google form, comprising 20-25 questions. Data will be extracted from the filled up questionnaire, which will follow the filled up by responders. The questions of the survey will be directed to know your attitude and perception about using a pre-anaesthesia checkup app. Aforementioned data shall be collected on a pre-structured proforma/excel sheet. The responses of the participant shall be denoted as a positive response, neutral response, negative response and inconclusive response. The statistician will then analyze pre-collected data. Primary Objective-To assess the perceptions of anesthesiologists regarding the benefits and limitations of AI-based PAC and identify barriers to the adoption of AI-based PAC in clinical practice.
