Brief Summary
|
This randomized controlled trial compares the accuracy of single-tooth implant placement using a static pilot guide versus freehand technique. Thirty-two patients are randomly assigned to two groups, with equal maxillary and mandibular distribution. The test group uses a pilot-guided drill; the control group uses a freehand approach. Pre- and post-operative CBCT scans assess placement accuracy. Key metrics include angular, platform, apex, and depth deviations, along with efficiency across arches. The study aims to determine whether pilot guides improve precision in implantology. |
