Control group |
This group will recieve self neck stretching exercise, self neck isometric exercise, cervical retraction exercise, active neck ROM exercise, neural gliding exercise, TENS will be used for 20 minutes, This will be performed for 3 times in a week for 4 consecutive weeks |
| Intervention |
Experimental group |
PNF using Hold Relax technique, which involves resisted isometric contraction of the shortened muscles followed by relaxation. This will be followed by relaxation . This will be combined with specific neck movement patterns along with conventional Physiotherapy. This will be performed for 8-12 repetitions 3 times a week for 4 consecutive weeks. |

Brief Summary
|
Aims To evaluate the efficacy of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation PNF technique versus conventional physiotherapy in managing pain and neck disability in cervical radiculopathy Objectives To evaluate the effect of PNF technique in reducing pain using visual analogue scale VAS and neck disability index NDI scale in individual with cervical radiculopathy To evaluate the effect of conventional physiotherapy in reducing pain using VAS and NDI scale in individual with cervical radiculopathy To compare the effectiveness of PNF technique versus conventional physiotherapy in reducing pain and neck disability in individual with cervical radiculopathy Methodology subjects who meets the study criteria will be explained about the purpose and benefit of the study and return informed consent will be taken from each participants in the language best understood by them participates will be devided using even and odd method into 2 groups control group and experimental group and the intervention will be given for 3 consecutive days in a week for a 4 weeks continuously treatment session will be around 45 to 60 minutes group A will recieve PNF and conventional physiotherapy group B will recieve only conventional physiotherapy all the participants will undergo pre and post intervention test to measure using NDI and VAS scale |
