Black Sesame Seeds |
Participants will consume 30 g of roasted black sesame seeds once daily for 45 days The dose will be pre packed in single day sachets to ensure accuracy participants will take the seeds in the morning preferably on an empty stomach or with breakfast and will be advised to chew them thoroughly Adherence will be monitored through daily telephonic follow up and weekly in-person visits with empty sachets collected to assess compliance |

no history of calcium supplementation or osteoporosis treatment in the past six months
willingness to consume black sesame seeds |

history of severe gastrointestinal disorder kidney disease or any condition affecting mineral absorption
current use of medications affecting bone metabolism
allergies or intolerance
gout or wilson disease

Brief Summary
|
Each participant will receive 30g of roasted black sesame seeds daily over a period of 45 days The dose will be measured using a standardized weighing machine and provided in pre-packed single-day sachets to ensure dose accuracy and improve compliance participants will be instructed to consume the seeds once daily in the morning preferably on an empty stomach or with breakfast the seeds may be consumed with warm water and participants will be advised to chew the seeds thoroughly before swallowing to enhance mineral bioavailability dosage will remain uniform across all participants adherence monitoring will be carried out through daily telephonic follow up which will be recorded in a participant log book Additionally weekly in person follow-ups will be conducted during which empty sachets will be collected to objectively assess compliance |
