Brief Summary
|
Objective- To analyse the fluctuation in blood lactate levels across different intensities and protocol of resistance training. To determine the relationship between blood lactate accumulation and perceived exertion during resistance training. To assess the potential impact of lactate threshold dynamics on fatigue management and training adaptation. To explore practical application of lactate threshold data for resistance training program design.
Preliminary Assessment- Participant will undergo a one rep max( 1 M) test for key exercise Familiarization with lactate testing procedures and perceived exertion scales.
Participants will perform three resistance training protocols at different intensities Low intensity( 50% 1RM , high repetition) Moderate intensity (70% 1 rm ,moderate repetition) High intensity ( 90% 1 RM low repetition) Blood lactate samples will be collected via finger prick at the following time points: Pre exercise ( baseline) Immediately post set one, three and five minutes post exercise to assess clearance rates |
