Brief Summary
|
This prospective interventional study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of individualized homoeopathic treatment in managing Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) among male Information Technology (IT) professionals aged 25–45 years. GAD is a chronic mental health condition characterized by excessive, persistent worry accompanied by psychological and somatic symptoms, leading to significant functional impairment. Male IT professionals are particularly vulnerable due to high occupational stress, workload demands, poor work–life balance, and emerging job insecurity related to technological advancements .A total of 30 participants diagnosed with GAD as per ICD-11 and DSM-5 criteria will be enrolled. Individualized homoeopathic medicines will be prescribed based on the totality of symptoms and followed for 24 weeks. Symptom severity and treatment response will be assessed using the GAD-7 scale, while functional impact will be evaluated through the Work Productivity and Activity Impairment (WPAI) questionnaire. The study seeks to provide scientific evidence for the role of individualized homoeopathy in improving anxiety symptoms and work productivity in this high-risk population. |
