Brief Summary
|
This study is a randomised control trial to study comparison between effectiveness of muscle energy technique and active release technique on pain, range of motion and functional disability in patient with upper crossed syndrome. This study includes 64 patients diagnosed with upper crossed syndrome within the age limit 18 to 45 years. The outcome measures used in the above study are visual analogue scale, range of motion of neck lateral flexion using goniometer and neck disability index. In the previous studies there is limited literature about the long term effects of these two techniques. There is little evidence regarding the use of the two techniques in upper crossed syndrome along with conventional protocol.Using these two manual techniques we will offer an opportunity for the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system to reset and see which one works better.
