Comparator Agent  Conventional physiotherapy only  Participants in the control group will receive only conventional physiotherapy for five weeks,three sessions per week.Treatment will include progressive wrist extensor and flexor strengthening, gripping exercises, resisted wrist motions with elastic bands,wrist rotation,soft tissue mobilization,stretching of wrist flexors and extensors and pulsed ultrasound therapy as per standardized protocol. No core strengthening exercises will be provided in this group. Duration: 5 weeks Frequency:3 supervised sessions per week Route:Exercise based physiotherapy intervention Dosage: 30 to 40 minutes per session 
Intervention  Core strengthening exercise program plus conventional physiotherapy  Participants in the experimental group will receive conventional physiotherapy along with a five week progressive core strengthening exercise program delivered three sessions per week.The core program includes pelvic tilts,abdominal bracing,seated torso twists,supine leg slides,bridging,modified dead bug exercises and supine marching.Exercises will be progressed weekly based on tolerance and correct technique using a pressure biofeedback unit to ensure activation of deep core muscles.In addition,participants will receive conventional management which includes strengthening exercises for wrist extensors and flexors,stretching,soft tissue mobilization and pulsed ultrasound as per protocol. Duration:5 weeks Frequency:3 supervised sessions per week Route:Exercise based physiotherapy intervention Dosage:45 to 50 minutes per session

Details  1. Racket sport athletes aged 18 to 40 years.

2. Clinical diagnosis of lateral epicondylitis confirmed by a physiotherapist or sports physician.

3. Duration of symptoms at least four weeks.

4. Reduced core stability assessed using Sahrmann Core Stability Test Level 3 with pressure biofeedback unit showing pressure deviation more than twenty millimetres of mercury.

5. Ability to participate in supervised physiotherapy sessions for five weeks.

6. Willingness to participate and provide written informed consent 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  1. Previous surgery or fracture to the affected elbow.

2. Concurrent significant injury to ipsilateral shoulder or wrist that would interfere with rehabilitation.

3. Systemic disorders affecting musculoskeletal function.

4. Currently enrolled in another interventional rehabilitation study.

5. Any contraindication to participating in supervised exercise (cardiac instability, uncontrolled hypertension) as deemed by investigator.

6. Pregnancy.

Brief Summary   Lateral epicondylitis also known as tennis elbow is a common overuse injury in racket sport athletes and results in pain, reduced grip strength and impaired function. Traditional management mainly focuses on local treatment at the elbow but increasing evidence suggests that core muscle weakness may contribute to abnormal upper limb loading. This randomized controlled trial will evaluate whether adding a structured core strengthening exercise program to conventional physiotherapy improves function, grip strength and core stability in elite racket sport athletes with lateral epicondylitis.
 
Thirty participants aged 18 to 40 years with clinically diagnosed lateral epicondylitis and weak core stability will be randomly allocated into two groups. The experimental group will receive conventional physiotherapy along with a five week progressive core strengthening program. The control group will receive only conventional physiotherapy based on strengthening and stretching protocols. Outcomes will include PRTEE score, hand grip strength using a handheld dynamometer and core stability using Sahrmann Core Stability Test Level 3 with a pressure biofeedback unit. Assessments will be performed at baseline and at the end of week five.
 
The results of the study will help determine whether incorporating core strengthening into rehabilitation provides additional benefits for racket sport athletes with lateral epicondylitis.
