Brief Summary   Endotracheal intubation with cuffed tubes can cause laryngotracheal irritation and post-extubation symptoms such as cough, sore throat and hoarseness. Intracuff drug instillation may reduce these complications by reducing mucosal inflammation and preventing rise in cuff pressure.
This randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial aims to compare the effectiveness of intracuff dexamethasone versus normal saline in reducing post-extubation airway morbidity in adult patients undergoing elective laparoscopic surgeries under general anaesthesia.
