Brief Summary
|
This Experimental Study Aims To Evaluate The Effectiveness Of A Structured Hand Grip Strengthening Program In Reducing Hand Fatigue And Improving Hand Grip Strength Among Casting Manufacturing Workers. The Intervention Uses Theraputty-Based Grip Strengthening Exercises Performed 3 Days Per Week Over A Period Of 6 Months. Pre- And Post-Intervention Measurements Of Grip Strength (Hand Dynamometer) And Fatigue Levels (Fatigue Severity Scale) Will Be Compared To Determine The Physiological Benefits Of The Program. The Study Intends To Provide Evidence-Based Physiotherapy Strategies For Preventing Work-Related Upper Limb Disorders (Wrulds) In Industrial Workers.Outcome Measures Include Improvement In Grip Strength (Kg), Reduction In Fatigue Scores, And Worker Satisfaction Regarding Functional Improvement. The Null Hypothesis States That A Structured Grip Strengthening Program Produces No Significant Change In Hand Fatigue And Grip Strength, Whereas The Alternate Hypothesis States That The Intervention Leads To A Significant Improvement In These Parameters. The Study Will Include 60 Male Casting Factory Workers, Selected Through Convenient Sampling, Conducted At Madhuram Technocast Foundry, Rajkot, Gujarat, Over A Duration Of 6 Months. |
