Brief Summary
|
Title : “Evaluating The Impact of Plyometric Exercise Training Program on Speed Performance in Adolescent Speed Skaters: An Experimental study’’
Investigator : Paramkumari Prakashbhai Vikani, PG Scholar of RK University.
Aim : To study the impact of a specific plyometric exercise training program on speed performance in adolescent speed skaters.
Objectives : To determine the effect of a specific plyometric exercise training program on skating speed in adolescent speed skaters using the Inline Skating Skill Test (ISST).
Material : cones, Stopwatch, Plyometric box, Whistle, Hurdles, Assessment form, Consent form, Pen
Procedure : Data will be collect from 60 adolescent speed skaters age 10 to 14 years using purposive sampling. All participants will undergo a pre-assessment of speed using the Inline Skating Skill Test (ISST).
Then they will follow a plyometric training program for 6 weeks (3 sessions per week).
After the intervention, post-assessment will be done using the same ISST.
Data will be analyse using paired t-tests to evaluate training effectiveness.
Training duration Session Duration: 45–60 minutes Frequency: 3 sessions/week Total Duration: 6 weeks
