Experimental Group - I
Virtual Training |
Two intervention sessions will be conducted: the first on Day 1 and the second after one week.
• In Experimental Group I, participants will receive animated virtual training through short videos (12–15 minutes) shared via Google Drive link will be shared through Whats app group mobile phones. Each session will be followed by an interactive query discussion to clarify doubts.

Brief Summary
|
This quasi-experimental study focuses on assessing the impact of a Virtual Training Module (VTM) on healthcare workers’ knowledge of workplace fire safety in a tertiary care hospital. The objectives include designing and implementing a virtual training on fire safety, evaluating knowledge before and after the intervention, comparing pre- and post-test scores, and determining the association between knowledge and selected demographic variables.
Healthcare workers willing to participate, fluent in Hindi/English, and with device access were included, while newly recruited staff or those recently trained in fire safety were excluded. It is anticipated that participants receiving VTM will show a significant improvement in post-test knowledge, reflecting enhanced fire safety skills and safer workplace practices.
Overall, the study aims to provide evidence on the effectiveness of virtual training in improving healthcare workers’ competencies, patient safety, and the overall efficiency of healthcare systems. |
