Brief Summary
|
This study aims to explore the relationship between Agni (digestive and metabolic fire) and Utsaha (enthusiasm or motivational energy) as described in Ayurvedic literature. Both are considered vital indicators of physical and mental health, influencing vigor, metabolism, and overall well-being. The research involves two main components (1) the development and validation of a standardized Utsaha Assessment Tool based on classical Ayurvedic references and modern psychological constructs, and (2) a cross-sectional analysis to assess the correlation between levels of Agni and Utsaha among healthy adults. Assessment of Agni will be done through established validated questionnaire supported by digestive/metabolic indicators, while Utsaha will be evaluated using the newly developed scale. The expected outcome is to establish a subjective relationship between digestive-metabolic strength and psychological enthusiasm, thereby providing a holistic understanding of mind–body interdependence in Ayurveda and contributing a validated tool for future clinical and research applications. |
