Mutrakruchhra is one of the common disorder of mutravaha strotas.Mutrakruchhra is a self explanatory name that derives from the words mutra and kruchhra. The root of the term mutra is prasrava which meaning to ooze. The word kruchhra derived from kashte which means to cause trouble or anguish.Pittaj Mutrakruchhra is a type of mutrakruchhra(dysuria) described in Ayurveda, where aggravated pitta dosha affects the mutravaha strotas(urinary system),often due to an imbalanced diet, lifestyle factors and the suppression of the urge to urinate. In Pittaj Mutrakruchhra symptoms like yellowish, with blood, painful, with burning sensation, with difficulty and frequent micturition are seen.Urinary tract infection are the second most infection in community practice. Most of people suffering from this condition and used to take modern medicine, which are quick in action but may have some side effects. Also there is problem of developing resistance to such type of drugs due to their repeated use.Hence this subject was selected for the present clinical study. The study will include total 70 eligible patients, aged from 18-60 years with clinically diagnosed pittaj mutrakruchhra/urinary tract infection from our institute Kayachikitsa department.Participant will receive 15 days treatment course combining the holistic principles of Ayurvedic medicines. The treatment regimen includes Yawadi Kwath an orally administered Ayurvedic formulation. This will provide robust evaluation of the treatment, efficacy and it’s impact on patients quality of life. |
