Brief Summary
|
This will be questionnaire based survey where the Indian anaesthesiologists will be surveyed. A detailed literature search will be done through web based search engines including Pubmed, Medline and Google scholar. The keywords include –Indian anaesthesiologists, practices, Cesearian section, spinal anaesthesia, subarachnoid block. Mail will be sent to the corresponding authors of similar survey in other countries to retrieve their google forms .Questions from their questionnaire will be included in our survey as applicable and a google form questionnaire designed using (Google, Alphabet Inc, California, USA), a web-based survey research tool that allows users to create surveys with question format templates. The questionnaire will be reviewed by group of four senior anaesthesiologists with more than 10 years of experience in obstetric anaesthesia for content to ensure precision and validity. The questions will be framed with either single short answer or multiple choice answers. Pilot testing will be done with 20 anaesthesiologists to identify any issue with clarity, relevance and comprehension. The google form will be shared by social media (WhatsApp messenger),text messaging and via emails. Snowball sampling technique was used to get the participants. Two reminders will be sent in a gap of 1and 2 weeks respectively to all links. Final reminder will be sent 5 days prior to the deadline. Duplication will be avoided by not allowing the respondents to respond again by setting in google form that only one response allowed. We will take 6-8 weeks to complete our survey.
