Brief Summary
|
OBJECTIVE To determine effect of Super Inductive System Therapy on pain, cervical range of motion, forward neck posture and quality of life using pressure-pain threshold algometer, craniovertebral angle using Kinovea software. To compare the effect of Super Inductive System Therapy with conventional physiotherapy using pressure-pain threshold algometer, craniovertebral angle using kinovea software
INCLUSION CRITERIA
Age 18 to 25 years all genders Pain intensity Visual analog scale more than 4 on scale of 0 to 10 the past week Clinical diagnosis of text neck syndrome forward neck posture less than 50 degrees chronic or recurrent neck pain 3 months associated with prolonged smartphone/computer use Diagnosed cases of Text neck syndrome from physiotherapist Stable Habits using digital devices more than 3 hours for at least 6 months Participants willingness to be a part of the research study
EXCLUSION CRITERIA Implanted electronic or metallic devices in the head or neck or chest region History of seizure /epilepsy Pregnancy Acute trauma or fracture in the cervical spine within the past 6 months Recent surgery Skin lesions or open wounds over treatment area OUTCOME MEASURES
Craniovertebral angle using Kinovea®software
pressure pain threshold using a pain pressure algometer
Neck disability Index
Procedure: GROUP A the subject with text neck syndrome will be receiving Super Inductive System therapy over the posterior neck region for 10 to 20 minutes along with exercises
