Recreational athletes of 18 to 25 years old.

ExclusionCriteria |
Details |
Inflammatory or neuropathic disease, spinal canal stenosis, radiculopathy, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis.
Any fractures and injuries for upper extremities, Any neurological conditions, Any recent spinal surgeries.
Any cardiovascular, pulmonary, and/or metabolic diseases. Neck pain, Dizziness, any diuretics usage, History of other comorbidities/ MSK (musculoskeletal) Injuries

Brief Summary
|
Before conducting Bio Impedance Analysis(BIA), Pre vitals will be assessed. To meet the BIA criteria the following instructions to be followed, i.e; should not have anything to eat or drink in the previous 4 hours, should not have exercised within the previous 12 hours, should not have consumed alcohol within the previous 48 hours, should urinate before 30minutes prior to the test. If person meets BIA criteria, will be taken and then parameters will be recorded. The parameters are BMI, skeletal muscle mass, Fat mass percentage, lean mass percentage, body fat percentage and will be analyzed using Bio impedance measuring scale. Core muscle endurance will be checked by using MC gill torso muscular endurance test battery which consists of three tests which are, 1.Trunk flexor endurance test, 2.Trunk lateral endurance test which includes Right side and left side planks, 3.Trunk extensor endurance test. Then, Correlation will be done between body composition parameters and core muscle endurance in recreational athletes. |
