Intervention / Comparator Agent
Type  Name  Details
Comparator Agent  Mulligan’s Bent Leg Raise (BLR) Technique with Traditional Physiotherapy  Participants in this group will receive Mulligan’s Bent Leg Raise (BLR) technique performed in supine lying with hips and knees flexed, supported on the therapist’s shoulder. Each session includes 10 minutes of Interferential Therapy (IFT) in crossfire mode, followed by a moist heat pack. Post-technique, spinal and core strengthening exercises are provided. 3 sessions per week for 4 weeks (12 sessions total)
Intervention  Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glide (SNAG) with Traditional Physiotherapy  Participants in this group will receive Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glide (SNAG) applied in prone and quadruped positions by a trained physiotherapist. Each session includes 10 minutes of Interferential Therapy (IFT) in crossfire mode, followed by a moist heat pack. After SNAG application, spinal strengthening and core stabilization exercises will be conducted. 3 sessions per week for 4 weeks (12 sessions total)

Brief Summary   This randomized comparative experimental study aims to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of two manual therapy techniques Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glide SNAG and Mulligans Bent Leg Raise BLR when used alongside traditional physiotherapy in the treatment of non specific mechanical low back pain NSMLBP. A total of 58 participants aged 18 to 60 years will be randomly assigned into two equal groups. Group A will receive SNAG with traditional physiotherapy while Group B will receive Mulligans BLR technique with traditional physiotherapy. Both groups will undergo treatment three times per week for four weeks. Outcome measures including pain measured by Numeric Pain Rating Scale NPRS functional disability assessed by Oswestry Disability Index ODI lumbar range of motion measured by goniometry and the Straight Leg Raise SLR test will be assessed at baseline mid intervention second week and post intervention fourth week. The study seeks to determine which manual therapy approach provides superior clinical outcomes in pain relief mobility and functional improvement in patients with NSMLBP.
