Brief Summary
|
The study will investigate the acute effects of taurine on performance and physiological variables in 20 male kabaddi players. The study includes visits. In Visit 1 (baseline), informed consent, demographic data, and baseline measures of performance and physiological variables will be collected. In next Visit, participants will receive either taurine supplementation (0.1 g/kg in 250 ml water, or placebo solution, 1 hour before testing), followed by warm-up and repeat assessment of the same variables. After measurement, data will be analysed using appropriate software.
