Brief Summary
|
This research aims to analyze the correlation between agility and flexibility in basketball players and how these physical attributes contribute to optimize performance on the field and to enhance injury prevention strategies. The study will focus on observing the relationship of range of motion while changing directions. While agility and flexibility are recognized as crucial for basketball performance, their correlation has not been comprehensively studied. Understanding this relationship can help optimize training methods for injury prevention and performance enhancement. This study is intended to examine the relationship between agility and flexibility in recreational basketball players. A sample of healthy recreational basketball players will be recruited. Agility will be measured by using T- test and flexibility will be measured by using sit and reach test. An observational study will be conducted among college athletes in Sports Complex of Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana-Ambala, Haryana, India. Recreational players between age group of 18-30 will only be included in this study. Data will be analyzed by using SPSS software version 24. The results will be obtained upon completion of this study is the co-relation between Agility and flexibility in recreational basketball players. |
