Subjects with classical symptoms of Gridhrasi explained in classical texts like
ruk, toda, sthambha, gaurava etc .
Subjects who are eligible for Vasthi. |

1. Subjects of age group below 20 yrs and above 65 yrs.
2. Subjects with uncontrolled metabolic and other systemic disorders.
3. Subjects with Neoplastic changes and congenital abnormalities in lumbar spine.
4. Surgical interventions of spine.
5. Pregnant women and lactating mothers.
6. Subjects who are not eligible for vasthi.
7. Subjects suffering from disease like tuberculosis, leprosy, spinal cord injury,
fracture of spine etc. |

Brief Summary
|
A Single arm study involves in the treatment of Gridhrasi with the help of Pathyadi guggulu and Gokshuradhya taila. The pathyadi guggulu and gokshuradhya taila are having drugs which are Anti-inflammatory & Analgesic in action and helps in reducing the inflammation of the sciatic nerve. The combination of oral adminisration of Pathyadi guggulu and Matra vasthi with Gokshuradhya taila provides relief from sciatic pain and improves mobility and functional ability of the nerve thus providing overall improvement in the quality of life, which is the main aim of the study. |
