Brief Summary

A total of 100 children will be randomly selected irrespective of their gender for
this study.
These 100 children will be divided into two equal groups Gr I & Gr II of 50
children each.

including videos on oral hygiene.
Group II will be explained by game based approach of oral hygiene.
These two groups will be further sub divided into 2 sub groups i.e Group IA &
Gr IB, Gr IIA & Gr IIB.
Group I A will include 25 children of 4 to 6 years of age group. Group I B will
include 25 children of age group of 9 to 11 years.
Group II A will include 25 children of 4 to 6 years of age group. Group II B will
include 25 children of age group of 9 to 11 years.
Prior to the start of the study consent and assent will be obtained from parents &
the children respectively for both the age groups.
At the first visit, OHI-S index will be obtained from all children prior to the start
of the study.
All the children of different groups will be explained about oral hygiene
awareness through conventional and game-based technique as per alloted. This
procedure will be repeated once every month for a period of 1 year. After 1 year
