Intervention  Matrix Rhythm Therapy  Patient Explanation: Inform the patient about how the Matrix Rhythm Therapy (MRT) device works, describing the rhythmic vibrations and potential sensations such as mild tingling or warmth. Device Setup: Position the patient comfortably and attach the MRT device to the muscles. Treatment Application: Move the device along the muscle fibers , applying rhythmic vibrations smoothly. Session Duration: Administer therapy for about 60 minutes, monitoring the patients comfort and encouraging feedback throughout. total duration of the treatment - 60 minutes

Brief Summary

PURPOSE: This study aims to explore the immediate effects of Matrix Rhythm Therapy (MRT) on spasticity, range of motion and balance in stroke patients. Spasticity and limited mobility can slow down recovery and affect rehabilitation outcomes. If proven effective, MRT may improve mobility and quality of life, making it a valuable addition to stroke rehabilitation programs.

METHODS:

 STUDY DESIGN             :    Pre-Post study
STUDY SETTING           :    Dr. D.Y. Patil  Hospital and Research Center.
Dr D.Y. Patil College Of Physiotherapy OPD , Pimpri Pune
 TARGET POPULATION :    Stroke
 SAMPLING METHOD   :    Purposive Sampling
SAMPLE SIZE                :    The estimated sample size for the study is 32 participants the

estimation is calculated using  winpepi version 11.65. based on

confidence level of 95% an acceptable difference of 0.32.

PROCEDURE:

•        Pre-Treatment Assessment And Post-treatment Assessment: Evaluate spasticity using Modified tardieu scale, Range of motion using digital goniometer and balance with the Timed Up and Go Test.

•        Intervention: Matrix rhythm therapy for 60min , targeting hamstring and gastrocnemius muscle.

•        Follow-up : after 2weeks.
