Brief Summary

Palliative care is an approach that improves the quality of life of patients (adults and children) and their families who are facing problems associated with life-threatening illness. It prevents and relieves suffering through the early identification, correct assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, whether physical, psychosocial or spiritual. Nurse-led palliative care intervention, characterized by comprehensive, personalized, dynamic adjustment and enhanced patient education, is significantly superior to routine care. It comprehensively covers the physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care. The aim of this study is to assess the Effectiveness of Nurse- Led Comprehensive Palliative Care Intervention on Physiological and Psychological Outcomes among Patients with Advanced Cancer. The data will be collected from 140 participants with advanced cancer. Stratified Block randomization sampling will be adopted to select the participants to control and Intervention Groups. Pre-test will be conducted for control and Intervention Groups, followed by Intervention Group will receive Nurse-Led palliative care intervention. Post Test will be conducted at 1 month, 3 month and 5th month. The collected data will be analyzed using descriptive and Inferential Statistics.
