Brief Summary
|
The single-leg hop test is used to assess the performance of the patient with knee joint injuries and their ability to return to physical activity. Functional hop testing is traditionally used to determine readiness to return to sport (RTS) after anterior cruciate ligament injury. Its purpose is to establish the reference values, relative and absolute reliability according to age and gender in normal, overweight and obese children. It is an Observational Study. Children of age between 8-15 years with varying BMIs will be instructed to hop as far as they as can on each leg alternatively. Distance from heel at starting point to toe after landing will be measured. Also, the child will be observed for balance and stability till 3s after landing. |
