Brief Summary
|
The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of homoeopathy with behavioural therapy in children with conduct disorder. A total of 28 cases
presenting with conduct disorder symptoms diagnosed according to the DSM 5 criteria and which satisfy the inclusion
criteria will be obtained from OPD, IPD, rural health centers and
school health programs conducted by Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College. Medicines
will be prescribed according to the individualization and totality of symptoms and repertorization. Potency and
repetition of medicines will be done according to the principles laid down in
the organon of medicine. Behavioural
therapy is given as per the severity of symptoms. Follow- up
will be taken every month, pre and post intervention assessment will be done using CDRS and NICHQ Vanderbilt scale at an interval of every 3 months. The primary outcome identifies the effectiveness of integrated approach of individualized
homeopathic medicine with behavioral therapy in such cases and secondary outcomes include understanding different causes of conduct disorder and the utility of conduct disorder rating scale (CDRS) in conduct disorder NICHQ Vanderbilt
scale in case if it is associated with other mental disorders such as ADHD, ODD
etc., |
