Details  1)Diagnosis of trigger point in upper trapezius (Unilateral) according to criteria
given by Simons et al 1983.
a) A taut palpable band in the affected muscle.
b) Exquisite focal tenderness to digital pressure (the trigger point), in the taut band
of the muscle.
c) A local twitch response, elicited through snapping palpation or needling of the
tender spot.
d) Reproduction of typical referred pain pattern of Trigger Point in response to
compression. (Simons et al 1999)
2) Clinical presentation of unilateral upper trapezius shortness.
3) The ROM of the side contra lateral to presence of trigger point should be
decreased than ipsilateral side. 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  1) Any contraindication to manual therapy
2) Diagnosis of fibromyalgia syndrome according to American college of
Rheumatology.
3) History of any surgery in cranio-cervical region
4) History of whiplash injury
5) Any diagnosed case of neurological/ Psychological/ psychiatric /
dermatological/ deficit or disorders that can affect the study.
6) Participants who are not willing to participate or discontinue.

Brief Summary   This study aims to evaluate the effects of cervicothoracic mobilization, a hands-on manual therapy technique applied to the neck and upper back joints, on pain, neck movement, and functional disability in computer users experiencing upper trapezius muscle trigger points. Prolonged computer use and poor posture often lead to muscle tightness and pain in the upper trapezius area, resulting in reduced neck mobility and discomfort during daily activities. In this randomized controlled trial, participants will be assigned to either a treatment group receiving cervicothoracic mobilization along with conventional physiotherapy or a control group receiving only conventional physiotherapy. Outcomes will be measured before and after the intervention using pain scales, cervical side flexion range of motion tests, and functional disability questionnaires. The goal of the study is to determine whether adding joint mobilization provides greater relief from pain and improvement in function compared to standard therapy alone in people with work-related neck pain.
