Aqua-T-Relax |
The subject will be floating on water using floats on thighs and therapist as the support and the water will be of 30 degree celcius. The subject will be closing both eyes, taking there feet together and hands spread out and therapist supporting from below on the neck and sacrum. We will fist start by moving the patient caudally and cephaloid direction using wrist on sacrum. We will then change our hand placement towards the knees and then taking both of his knees towards his chest. After this we will be placing the hand on one knee and moving the knee and hip in flexed position and performing hip abduction, adduction, internal rotation, external rotation. Then we shift our hands towards neck placing our hands on the base of occiput and applying a mild traction on the neck. The protocol will last for 10 min. Each movement repetition will be 10 times. |

Progressive Muscle relaxation |
The participants sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes and take 3–5 deep diaphragmatic breaths.
Follow this order, holding each tension for 5–7 seconds, then relaxing for 15–20 seconds:
Foot: focus on your feet, tense the muscles in the feet and ankle, bend your toes toward your head, and slowly tighten the muscles; then relax and imagine your feet getting heavier and more relaxed.
Leg: focus on the calf and push your feet forward as hard as you can, tension the calf muscle group, and then relax; concentrate on your thighs and pull them as close together as possible, tensing those muscles, and then letting them relax and go back to their position.
Hip: try to align your hips, tense the hip and waist muscles, and hold this position for a while; then relax your muscles in the hips and waist letting them go back to their original state. Chest: take a deep breath, hold it, and feel the tension; feel your chest muscles become tense and rigid, maintain this feeling for a while, then slowly exhale and relax your muscles.
Arm: extend your hand, clench your fist, force the forearm muscle group to tension, then relax; do it once on each hand; straighten your arms, clench your fists in both hands, tense your hands and arm muscles, then relax.
Shoulder: hunching your shoulders, feeling it from the neck to the ear, with the back slightly inclined, tension neck muscles, holding it for a while; then begin to relax your shoulders, hanging your head down forward, letting your shoulders go down, feeling your muscles become consciously relaxed and heavier, while the neck feels weak, the shoulder should feel heavy.
Fascial: wrinkle your forehead muscles, then relax; frown, then relax; pucker your nose and cheeks, keeping your teeth clenched, so that the corners of your mouth are turned as far to the sides as possible
Post relaxation the participant focuses on relaxation for 1-2 min. The participant deepens breath and open his eyes gradually.

Brief Summary
|
- Cricket, a high intensity intermittent sport, imposes significant physiological and neuromuscular demands on athletes, leading to acute and chronic fatigue.
- Fatigue is a crucial factor influencing athletic performance, particularly in high intensity sports like cricket. The sport demands prolonged physical and mental exertion, often leading to accumulated fatigue that affects players performance, recovery, and injury risk.
- Fast bowlers, in particular, are prone to neuromuscular fatigue due to the repetitive explosive movements required for bowling.
- Given these implications, fatigue management is vital for optimising player performance and preventing injuries.
- Aqua T Relax is a passive recovery technique which is done in water and the patient is floating on the surface of water.
- Progressive Muscle Relaxation is an active recovery technique which involve constantly tensing and relaxing the muscle and relaxing it. Different muscle groups are used to promote fatigue recovery.
