Brief Summary
Primary purpose of protocol: To determine the relative
effectiveness of various Basti formulations within the Kala
Basti pattern for reducing Low Back Pain (LBP). Additionally,
the study aims to assess the influence of Basti therapy on
outcomes measured by the Oswestry Low Back Disability
Questionnaire, The Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale, and
SF-36 among individuals with LBP.

The methodology of this study involves a comparative analysis
of different Basti formulations within the Kala Basti pattern for
managing Low Back Pain (LBP). Participants will be recruited
and grouped based on specific Basti techniques administered.
Data on pain intensity, functional disability, and quality of life
will be collected using validated scales such as the Oswestry
Low Back Disability Questionnaire, The Quebec Back Pain
Disability Scale, and SF-36. Statistical analyses will be
employed to compare the effectiveness of Basti formulations
and assess their impact on LBP outcomes. Additionally,
subgroup analyses may be conducted to explore the influence
of potential confounding factors.

Dissemination of findings: The findings of the study will be
disseminated through peer-reviewed publications, conference
presentations, and knowledge-sharing platforms within the
Ayurvedic community to inform practice, policy, and future
research endeavors.
