Deep transverse friction
maneuver, eccentric exercises and
ultrasound |
Deep transverse friction
maneuver is applied for 12 to 15 seconds, eccentric exercises is given 15 reps with 3 sets and
ultrasound frequency with 1Mhz, pulse 1:4, intensity 1 Wcm2 for 8 min. All this treatment is given for 3 session per week for 6 weeks |

Bilateral symptomatic lateral epicondylitis
Cervical radiculopathy

Brief Summary
|
This randomized clinical trial will aim to evaluate the combined effect of Deep Transverse Friction Massage (DTFM) and eccentric exercise on pain and function in patients with chronic lateral epicondylitis. Thirty participants diagnosed with tennis elbow will be randomly assigned to an intervention group receiving DTFM with eccentric exercise or a control group receiving standard care for four weeks. Pain intensity and functional status will be assessed using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and Patient Rated Tennis Elbow Evaluation (PRTEE) questionnaire before and after the intervention. |
