Brief Summary
|
Subjects will be recruited based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. After obtaining the informed consent , participant will undergo a baseline evaluation including history, refraction, slit-lamp examination, and accommodation and convergence assessment. Habitual smartphone usage patterns will be assessed by recording device features, measuring usual reading distance and posture through unobtrusive photographs, and administering a structured questionnaire covering type of tasks, average daily screen time, duration of continuous use, use of spectacles, smartphone use at bedtime with lights off, and any eye strain or visual discomfort experienced after digital device use. This study aims to evaluate smartphone usage patterns and their impact on accommodation and convergence. The findings may help to develop standard ergonomic guidelines for smartphone use. |
