Brief Summary   This research examines young adults in India (aged 20–35). In today’s social media-driven world, many people feel pressure to look a certain way. This study focuses on three variables that is how much importance people place on their looks (appearance investment), the anxiety they feel about how others see them (social appearance anxiety), and their ability to be kind to themselves about their body (body compassion). By using standardised tools through questionnaire , the study will collect responses from around 152 participants. The goal is to conceptualize the relationship between social appearance anxiety, body compassion and appearance investment. The study involves minimal risks and follows all ethical protocols, including informed consent and confidentiality.
