Details  ATHLETES:
Indian female para-badminton athletes (age: 18-35 years) competing actively for past 2 years in Women Singles, Doubles or Mixed Doubles categories in competitions recognized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC),
Athletes having access to internet, laptop/smartphone,
Athletes who can read, understand, and respond independently or with minimal assistance in English or Hindi.

COACHES:
Male or Female para badminton athletes’ coaches (age: 25-60 years), who have primarily trained the aforementioned athletes and have experience training athletes who achieved significant international or national-level performances
Having access to internet, laptop/smartphone
Who can read, understand, and respond independently or with minimal assistance in English or Hindi. 
 
ExclusionCriteria 
Details  ATHLETES:
Athletes who have never menstruated (e.g., premenarchal individuals or certain medical conditions),
Currently injured para-athletes,
Intellectually impaired para-athletes.

COACHES:
Coaches with less than 1 year of experience in training female para-athletes.

Brief Summary  

This study aims to explore and understand the menstrual cycle (MC)-related perspectives and practices among Indian female para-badminton athletes and their coaches by conducting focus group discussions. Under this, a Focus Group Discussion Tool for Indian female para-badminton athletes and their coaches will be developed and validated to explore their MC-related perspectives and practices. It will help to explore the knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs regarding MC among Indian female para-badminton athletes and their coaches and will identify menstrual management practices, coping strategies, and challenges faced by Indian female para badminton athletes and their coaches in relation to training and competition.
