Brief Summary
Physical fitness is defined as a set of attributes that people have or achieve that relates to the ability to perform physical activity. Muscular strength, flexibility, endurance and cardiovascular fitness are basic components of physical fitness. Regular physical fitness offers numerous benefits across various systems of the body.
Regimen is any set of rules about diet and exercise that someone follows, especially in order to improve their health. In this study we are only focusing on physical exercise part. There are two types of regimen: tele-fitness regimen and physical fitness regimen. Tele-fitness regimen is carried out by online mode and physical fitness regimen is carried out by offline mode. Tele-fitness regimen refers to a structured fitness program delivered through digital platform like apps, websites or video conferencing tool. An offline physical fitness regimen is a structured fitness plan delivered through gyms, yoga classes, pilates and aerobics exercises.
Satisfaction is defined by Locke (1976) as an emotional response or affection toward an object. Satisfaction is seen as an expression of fulfilment of an expected outcome influenced by prior expectation regarding the level of quality. In terms of fitness regimen, it can significantly impact on consistency of a user with a fitness program. Client satisfaction is a main aspect of success and sustainability of  fitness program.
Aim-Client’s satisfaction with tele-fitness and offline physical fitness regimen in young adults.
Objective- To find out factors affecting client’s satisfaction with tele-fitness and offline physical fitness regimen.
Methodology-An interview based qualitative study using convenient sampling will be conducted on 30 participants divided in group in A-Participants following tele-fitness regimen and B- Participants following physical fitness regimen. Interviews will be conducted in person or via telephonic conversation depending on availability. Verbatim transcription of the recorded conversations will be performed. Phenomenological data analysis will be used for result interpretation.
